Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer getting kisses from black lab.We are incredibly grateful for the invaluable support of our remarkable volunteers, who play a pivotal role in various aspects of our guide and service dog programs. Volunteers serve as the heartbeat of our organization, and their unwavering dedication, commitment, and generosity are the driving forces behind the successful realization of the Guide Dog Foundation's mission.

In the past year, the collective effort of our volunteers amounted to an astounding 4 million hours dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities.

Within our volunteer community, we are fortunate to have puppy raisers, esteemed advisory members on our board of directors, kennel caretakers, and event organizers who tirelessly raise funds for our programs. They contribute by offering office assistance, facilitating the transportation of puppies and adult dogs, engaging in speaking engagements, leading informative tours, aiding during class mealtimes, and fostering a supportive environment for students during their leisure moments.
