Valued Veterinary Partnership Program
The Guide Dog Foundation developed the Valued Veterinary Partnership Program to acknowledge, thank, and support our veterinary partners who provide free or discounted care to Foundation
puppies while they live with our volunteer puppy raisers (for approximately 12 to 18 months). By reducing the costs of veterinary care of our puppies, we can allocate dollars raised to other areas of our program so that we can serve more people with disabilities.
Some dogs will become guide dogs for people who are blind or visually impaired; others will become service dogs for those with disabilities other than blindness. Whether through the Guide Dog Foundation or our sister organization America's VetDogs, there are many career paths for our dogs.
We are proud to recognize the following veterinarians for their dedication to the Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs and their support of our mission to provide the assistance dogs that change lives.
Our Valued Veterinary Partnership Program has various levels of participation. If you would like to learn more about this program, or become one of our valued veterinary partners, please contact Tracy Quinones, at 631-930-9083 or e-mail
