JoAnn Roberto Luongo DeNapoli 

JoAnn DeNapoli Charitable Foundation, Inc. was organized and funded under the Will of Giovanna (JoAnn) Roberto Luongo DeNapoli.  Mrs. DeNapoli's family were the owners of the Luongo Vegetable Farm in Winchester, MA.  Mrs. DeNapoli's Will made specific charitable bequests benefiting hospitals and homes for children; Catholic charities; dog shelter organizations; organizations for veterans and the blind; and other charities.

Image of Mr. SignhThe Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind has had long standing relationships with many Lions Clubs.  We would like to thank the Mineola Lions Club for supporting our most recent sponsorship opportunity “Honoring Those Who Inspire” which allows a donor to Honor or memorialize the accomplishments, experiences and stories of those who are blind or visually impaired, an advocate for individuals with disabilities or an assistance dogs or a team by showing the world that we “we support them.”
 
Through their sponsorship they chose to memorialize Sean Singh who was a beloved member of NYS’ SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Board of Directors, Health & Business Alliance and Mineola Lions Club.  Sean Singh was a 3x award winner for the best Elder Care Services of North Shore reaffirming his immeasurable dedication and support to those in need.

Thomas Peczkowski 

Image of Mr. PeczkowskiThomas Peczkowski was a resident of Hampton Bays, NY for over 50 years after graduating with a Masters Degree from the University of Notre Dame.  He was an honored member of the Hampton Bays Lions Club
 and served as Treasurer for over 40 years. He was an ardent supporter of the Smithtown Guide Dog Foundation and through his tenure, the Hampton Bays Lions Club sponsored 45 guide dogs.  He was a well-respected Math Teacher at the Hampton Bays High School for 23 years.

Franklin Butz 

Franklin Butz founded South Fork Realty in 1972 and is a licensed real estate broker of South Fork Realty, as well as a licensed New York State certified general real estate appraiser. 
Frank has also served as director, vice president, and treasurer of the Eastern Suffolk Board of Realtors and director of the Long Island Board of Realtors. For 50 years, Frank has maintained a reputation of honesty and integrity and is well respected by his clients, colleagues, and peers.

Frank became a member of the Hampton Bays Lions Club in 1979 and has served as president, vice president, and director during his tenure. In 2011 he started and sponsored the "Over the Bridge" 10K Run & 5K Walk/Run, which has become the largest fundraiser for the club. Proceeds from the event have enabled the Hampton Bays Lions Club to sponsor more than 45 assistance dogs with the Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs and have helped the club support many other charitable efforts. His passion and commitment to support the mission of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind continues to grow.
