Kitchen Volunteer

The Guide Dog Foundation and America's VetDogs in-house chef provide students three home-cooked meals a day every day during their 2-week stay on campus in Smithtown, New York.  Volunteers are needed to serve the students breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays and weekends.

Hours of Volunteering - Weekdays and weekends, when classes are in session
7:00 AM – 8:15 AM - Breakfast 
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM - Lunch 
5:00 PM – 6:15 PM - 
Dinner

Requirements: Orientation and training is provided for food serving once you start. Comfortable clothes, hair back, close-toed shoes. 

You will receive a free meal before or after the shift. Meal will be the same as the students menu for the day.
