The Position - Part-time Cook

Prepares breakfast, lunch & dinner for guests & students staying on campus. Ensures food safety while maintaining a healthy, clean & safe work area & dining room. Cleans up after meals. Follows the menu to ensure specific dietary requirements are met.

Key Job Requirements

- High School diploma.  Culinary or Nutrition/Dietician courses preferred.
- Must maintain Food Manager Certification from Suffolk County Board of Health.
- Must be comfortable around dogs. 
- Must have good communications skills, reliable & be capable of learning, applying courtesy & etiquette to the blind, visually impaired & to others with disabilities.

Hours

Weekends (Saturdays to start) on an intermittent schedule, i.e.; when class and guests are on campus.

Salary

Contingent upon experience.
