September

September 7, 2019 – A Salute to Soldiers – Agawam, MA

This is the 2nd Annual Fundraiser hosted by Jack Chamberland in partnership with BarRated Trivia. This year’s fundraiser is a trivia game! The event will be held at the Polish American Club of Agawam and will begin at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets will be available for sale on Eventbrite for $25 – just type in "A Salute to Soldiers". Bring your smartest friends to compete for the grand prize, as you answer 25 questions on subjects that could range anywhere from science to history to pop culture. There will also be a customized VetDogs round and a music round where you could be asked to name the singer, the song title, etc. Every team will leave with a prize. Food will be served at 5:45 p.m. with trivia to start at 6:30 p.m. Don’t be late, as you won’t want to miss out on all the fun! There will be a BBQ buffet, raffle prizes, live music by C.A. Jones, and of course pups in training from the VetDogs organization! A graduate from the America’s VetDogs program may also be in attendance.

September 8, 2019 – Huntington 9/11 Heroes Run – Huntington, NY

For the past five years Travis Manion Foundation has selected America’s VetDogs as their charity partner for this timed run/walk event. Run, Volunteer, Donate, Cheer…but most of all: Honor.  Register here  for the 5K run (to start at 9:30) or 1-mile fun run/walk (to start at 9:00) from Mill Dam Park.  For more information, please email the group here.

September 13, 2019 – Troops Golf Classic– Riverhead, NY

Join Thanks Troops at the Woods Cherry Creek Golf Club this fall. Proceeds for this year’s tournament will benefit America’s VetDogs, Folds of Honor, Navy SEAL Museum and the Marine Corps League. The price for an individual player is $195 and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. There will be vendors, contests and beverages on the course. This event always sell out. September 13, 2019 (Friday) – 6th Annual Divots for Service Dogs

Made possible by the Prison Pup Benevolent Association Company, this golf outing will support both America’s VetDogs and NEADS. The tournament will take place at the Highfields Country Club in Grafton, MA. If you are interested in becoming a tournament sponsor or reserving your spot on the course, please contact Laura Galvani via email.

September 14, 2019 (Saturday) – Charitably Chic

Want to start your holiday shopping early? All profits from jewelry sales will go to America’s VetDogs. Jewelry starting at only $15! Please RSVP your attendance by calling Wendy at 516-361-3180. Event is happening from 1 to 5:00 p.m.

September 18, 2019 – Duxbury High School, Girls Volleyball– Duxbury, MA

The girls volley team is hosting this volleyball game with proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. Parents and students are welcome to attend. For additional information, please contact Pam Thomas.

September 20-22, 2019 – 4th Annual Jeremy Feder All-Star Charity Baseball Tournament - Oceanside, NY

Oceanside Little League and the Feder family will be hosting this baseball tournament for kids ages 8 -10 years old with all proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. Opening Ceremony starts on Friday night at Wrights Field in Oceanside, NY with the games to follow. Additional games to be held Saturday and Sunday.  Food and great raffle prizes will be will be sold starting at 6:30 pm on Friday, September 20th at Wrights Field located at 264 Mott St. in Oceanside.  To date, Jeremy has raised more than $16,000 for America’s VetDogs.  Registration will soon be available. September 23, 2019 - 15th Annual Culinary Delights Fundraiser at Carltun on the Park – East Meadow, NY

For the sixth year in a row, the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce selected America’s VetDogs as one of the charities to benefit from their very successful annual fundraiser to be held on Monday, September 23, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. Many restaurants from the local community go to this event to showcase their food specialty for the enjoyment of all registered participants. During the evening there will be raffles, food, fun and more! Tickets are $60 and if, you select America’s VetDogs on the back of your ticket, 50 percent of your paid ticket will go to the Foundation. Information on how to purchase a ticket can be found here.

September 24, 2019 – Dix Hills Golf League’s Annual Outing – Huntington, New York

Do you play golf?  Purchase a ticket to play in this special outing – ladies only.  Lunch and raffles to follow at a restaurant nearby the golf course.  All proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs!  For additional information, email Susan.

October 5, 2019 – Barking to the Beat – Brentwood, New York

NY Wired & Friends Entertainment USA are hosting this event with proceeds to benefit America’s VetDogs. Come listen to songs from Journey, Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and is located at Van Nostrand Theater at the campus at Suffolk Community College. Prices are $40 or $45. To order tickets CLICK HERE, or call 1-800-699-4733.

November 2, 2019 – Beer Expo – Hempstead, New York

Members of the America’s VetDogs team will be representing the Foundation at this fall festival. Starfish Junction Productions is hosting this event at Nassau Coliseum and is offering a portion of the proceeds to America’s VetDogs. If you would like to learn about America’s VetDogs, come visit our table between the hours of 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. or 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. For additional information, please email Kristen.
