Nightmare Interruption

Charlie has been learning how to perform a behavior called nightmare interruption.  Cued by his veteran's movements during a nightmare, Charlie will take hold of a strap attached to the bed covers and pull them off of the bed, in turn waking the veteran.  Having a service dog like Charlie nearby after waking can help our veterans return their thoughts to the present and aid in a more restful night.
