Matching Gifts
Of 11,500 companies surveyed by Blackbaud, Inc., the nation’s largest fundraising software company, 80 percent matched their employees’ cash donation at least dollar for dollar in 2002. More than 640 companies gave two dollars for every dollar—and 80 companies gave matching gifts of three to one.
Contact your company’s human resources department or web site to find out if your employer has a matching gifts program.
